PARTNERSHIP WITH GDLN

Global Secretariat

The GDLN Global Secretariat gives capacity development advisory support to the GDLN Affiliates in knowledge exchange best practices and methodologies across all sectors. As part of GDLN Global, the Global Secretariat plays an administrative and external coordinating function for the global network, where it oversees global governance issues, business development, branding and communications, technology and quality. As part of its mandate, the Secretariat supports the GDLN Global Board in the implementation of Board decisions and governance related mechanisms that affect all Affiliates in the network. The Global Secretariat is housed within the Capacity Building Center of the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, Seoul Korea.
The KDI School of Public Policy and Management (KDIS) has assumed the role of the GDLN Global Secretariat from the World Bank in July, 2014, as part of GDLN’s evolution into a largely autonomous and mature network.

The KDI School of Public Policy and Management was established in 1997 to educate and develop the next generation of leaders in today's rapidly changing and globalizing economy. The School offers an innovative educational program focusing on policy and international issues and aims to transform mid-career professionals into leaders of their respective fields by equipping them with new knowledge, vision and a global perspective.

The KDI School also draws from a wealth of research and resources from the Korea Development Institute (KDI), the nation's leading economic think tank, to share Korea's unique development experience with the global community.
