On behalf of the GDLN Korea Center, we would like to announce that the Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institution (AFDI, China), a GDLN affiliate, will be holding a Webinar 3 on the “ Global economic outlook - Covid-19. An analysis of ACCA’s latest Global Economic Conditions survey”, led by Mr. Michael Taylor from ACCA.

Topic: Global economic outlook - Covid-19. An analysis of ACCA’s latest Global Economic Conditions survey

Date & Time:16:00-17:00 (Korea time), 29 April 2020

Objectives : The speaker, the author of the ACCA 2020 Q1 Global Economic Conditions Survey (GECS), will share his views on the outlook for the global economy as it faces the unprecedented crisis caused by Covid-19. Michael will discuss the severity of the current contraction in output across the regions of the world. In addition, he will discuss the global policy response and how and when recovery might be established. Michael will also discuss theQ1 GECS, the main indicators of this long-established survey are good lead indicators of economic activity and provide insight into the views of finance professionals on investment, employment and costs. The Q1 2020 survey took place between 28 February and 12 March 2020.
